How booking works

You don't pay anything to enquire. Here's what happens from your first message to your session.

Step by step

  1. Send an enquiry

Tell me your idea, where it's going and roughly how big. Add reference images if you have them, and pick up to three days that suit you, or leave it flexible.

  2. I offer you a date

If it's a good fit, I'll email you a date and time with the price. I hold it for you for 48 hours.

  3. Pay the deposit to book it in

Pay online with a card using the link in the email. Once it's paid, the date is yours and you'll get a confirmation.

  4. Your session

You'll get reminders four days and one day before, and your aftercare instructions as soon as we're done. The rest of the price is paid on the day.

Prices

Hourly

£80 an hour

£50 deposit. For smaller pieces, from one hour.

Full day

£400

£100 deposit. For bigger pieces, a whole session.

The deposit comes off the price, and the rest is paid on the day. I'll tell you which session fits your piece when I offer you a date.

Deposits and rearranging

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to rearrange, you can move your deposit to a new date once, as long as you let me know at least 48 hours before your appointment. Rearranging with less notice, or a second time, means the deposit is lost and a new one is needed to rebook. If I have to cancel, you can choose a new date or have your deposit back.

Good to know

When are you available?

My available days change from week to week. The days I'm free are shown in green when you book in. I tattoo at BlackStar Tattoo in Farnworth, Bolton.

How old do I need to be?

18 or over. It's illegal to tattoo anyone younger in the UK, and you'll be asked for your date of birth when you enquire.

Can I pick a date before you've seen my idea?

You can pick up to three green days that suit you. I confirm the actual date and time once I've read your enquiry.

How do I look after it?

Your aftercare instructions come by email when your session ends. They're also on the aftercare page.
